Monalisa's Story: "Doi maach literally translates to ‘yoghurt fish’. In some Indian communities, there is a myth that fish and milk should not be consumed in the same meal, as it is bad for the digestion, but this recipe from Bengal dispels the myth by combining the two in the same dish!"
Accompaniments: Plain rice

Ingredients: Seafood - Fishvish ROHU, Onion, Yoghurt, Ginger paste, Turmeric powder, Sugar, Water, Cardamom, Cloves, Bay Leaves, Cinnamon, Kashmiri Mirch
Storage: Keep frozen and consume within 6 days. If defrosted, keep refrigerated and consume within 2 days.
Thawing: Defrost in microwave or place container in warm water.
Heating Instructions: Heat in microwave 2-4 mins | Pan: Medium Heat for 3-4 minutes

Fishvish comes as a big savior for sea-food and fish lovers like us. The preparation was nice and the taste was just perfect with mild aroma of spices. I tried it with plain rice and was satisfied with the overall quality and taste. (Posted on 2/3/2017)

Overall the preparation was well done. The one part I do not like of this dish is the fish itself. The number of bones one has to remove as they eat is a big turn off to me. BUT I liked the overall preparation and enjoyed the meal. Heating it up was simple enough. (Posted on 1/23/2017)
