Mutton Berry Pulao

Description: Inspired from the famous Britannia & Co in Mumbai who have been serving authentic Parsi food for generations. This is an attempt to replicate that in a Home Kitchen. The pulao is cooked in ghee or clarified butter and cranberry and garnished with almond slivers. Ghee is known to be an excellent source of calcium. Cranberries are known for their anti-inflammatory properties.

Accompaniments: Doesn't really need anything but maybe some buttermilk / chaas works really well.

Ingredients: Seafood - Fishvish Mutton, Basmati Rice, Onion, Whole Garam Masala (Bay leaves, Cinnamon, Green Cardamom, Cloves), Turmeric powder, Cashew nuts, Almonds, Cranberry, Honey, Brown sugar, Ghee, Garlic Ginger, Red Chilli powder
Storage: Keep frozen and consume within 6 days. If defrosted, keep refrigerated and consume within 2 days.
Thawing: Defrost in microwave or place container in warm water.
Heating Instructions: Heat in microwave 2-4 mins | Pan: Medium Heat for 3-4 minutes

Nicely cooked with good aromaReview by SS
The pulao was nicely cooked and upon heating it had a very good aroma of ghee and spices, that was very tempting. Mutton was nicely cooked and tasted great and the quantity was sufficient for one. The only thing that I didn't like probably, was that the amount of raisins used was probably more than it should have been. Otherwise, great taste and fulfilling. (Posted on 2/13/2017)
